MyCompiledThoughtsDorabela Sousa, known by her fans and friends as Bela, is an R&B singer/songwriter from Malden, MA. With the help of The AM Music Group, she debuted her first EP titled "Peach" under Blue Space Records in July of 2018. "Growing up I would say that my earliest musical influences came from my mother. Being a singer, dancer, and a painter it’s easy to say that my artistic side came from her." Within the creation of "Peach", Bela finds her sound, where she utilizes her current experiences to incorporate her beliefs and ideologies into her music. "I remember at a young age I considered myself to be shy and less outgoing. Today as an artist I feel as if I am boundless, and when it comes to my project Peach, it wrote itself... Throughout the process of making this project, I realized that I am unique and cannot be simply placed inside a box. " |
